Needle Felting For Beginners
Join us to learn the basics of needle felting!
Needle felting is a dry felting techinique that uses specially designed needles to shape wool fibers. This technique can be used to create pieces of art, including objects and figurines.
We will discuss all the materials and tools required for needle felting, learn some techniques and tricks and review best practices for the best results. In class we will walk step by step through making our own simple 2-D landscapes. Everyone will get to take home their finished piece and a beginner set of basic tools required to needle felt at home!

In this class we will learn watercolor basics.
Our focus will be practicing and understanding commonly used watercolor techniques, understanding water to paint ratios and how to apply watercolor paints.
We will start by reviewing materials and supplies used for watercolor painting, addressing any questions you might have about how you can get started at home.
We will do some exercises in class to practice the techniques and methods we are learning - exploring conventional and unconventional ways to make art. Open discussion and questions are encouraged during class. Watercolor doesn't have to be scary; it can be simple and easy, whimsical and informal, and fun for everyone!

Watercolor 102 Step By Step: Fish
Join us and explore your creative side with vivid colors and whimsical details!
In this class we will walk step by step to create our own watercolor paintings we can take home to enjoy! The instructor will have a drawn out template prepared of a simple illustration, you can choose to sketch it yourself or trace the template. We will paint together using basic watercolor techniques working step by step, finishing with an ink pen to add detail. Everyone will have a finished piece to take home.

Watercolor 103: Advanced TECHNIQUE and Textures
Due to popular demand for additional watercolor classes, our third advanced technique class is now open for enrollment.
This class is designed for students who have some foundational watercolor experience and are ready to build on those skills. We’ll explore more advanced watercolor painting techniques and some basic color mixing.
In the second half of the session, participants will apply what they’ve learned by creating amini painting based on a subject chosen in advance by the instructor. Students are encouraged to work at their own pace, with support and guidance available throughout the class.
The class will include time for sharing work and discussing progress in a supportive, open forum. Students are welcome to ask questions, give and receive feedback, and learn from one another. If common challenges arise, the instructor will demonstrate solutions for the entire group.
Whimsical Watercolor for Beginners: 102: Pumpkins
